Assignment 1

1. One of my favorite books from childhood was Mercy on these Teenage Chimps its by Gary Soto. Its about a boy named Ronaldo Gonzalez. He was known as Ronnie. It was his 13 birthday. When he woke up he went the restroom and looked at himself and he said he looked like a champanzee. He ate breakfast and went to school. He there meet with his friend Joey. They were late to school, thats why they got to clean after school for a week. When they were cleaning afterschool. Joey's coach ask them if they wanted to help him in a Ceremony in the night. They both voluntered. So they went home to change. When they were in the Ceremony,they meet this girl name Jessica. When they called her up to get her certifcate. her balloon went up. So Joey went up to get it, but fell. His coach got mad that he called him a monkey. So Joey went home and went up his tree and he said that he was going to stay there forever. Joey really like Jessica thats why he tried to get the balloon but he couldn't. Ronnie couldn't stand to see his friend in the tree. So he went to Jessica's house and told her to go to the tree where Joey is. So she could try to convince him to get down. So she went to talk to him and finally he did get down the tree after all.
